Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address and password, used to sign you in.
• A username (and optional display name) shown on leaderboards and to other players.

As you use the app, we store:

• The weekly picks you make, and the points/goal difference they earn.
• Any private group you create or join, including its name and membership.
• If you turn on notifications, a push subscription for that browser/device (an endpoint and encryption keys assigned by your browser) so we can send you pick reminders. This is only created if you opt in from Settings, and removed if you turn notifications off.

We also use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to see aggregate traffic like page views and whether the app was installed to a home screen. This doesn't identify you individually or track you across other sites.

• To run the game: recording your picks, scoring them against real match results, and showing leaderboards.
• To let you form or join private groups with friends.
• To send you a push notification reminder before a matchweek's picks lock, if you've enabled that.
• To send account-related emails (like a password reset) when you request one.
• To keep the app secure and prevent abuse (e.g. rate-limiting rapid requests).

We don't sell or rent your information. A few outside services help us run the app, and only see what they need to do their job:

• Our database and authentication provider — stores your account and game data, and handles signing you in.
• Our hosting provider — runs the app itself, our scheduled jobs, and the anonymous analytics described above.
• Our email delivery service — sends account emails (like password resets) on our behalf.
• Our scheduling and rate-limiting service— schedules reminder notifications and helps prevent abuse; it doesn't store your picks or profile data.
• Your browser's push notification service(built into your device by its manufacturer) — delivers push notifications to your device if you've enabled them.
• Our football data source— provides real Premier League fixtures, results, and odds we use to score picks. We only pull public match data from them; we don't send them any information about you.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in — that's it. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics tooling is cookie-free.

We keep your account and game data for as long as your account exists, so your picks, points, and group memberships stay intact across the season. If you ask us to delete your account (see below), we remove your profile, picks, group memberships, and push subscriptions.

• Change your username anytime from Settings.
• Turn push notifications on or off anytime from Settings.
• Leave any group you've joined, or delete a group you own.
• Request that your account and data be deleted by emailing us (below) — we don't currently have a self-serve delete button, but we'll take care of it promptly.

FixturePerfect isn't directed at children, and it isn't intended for use by anyone under 13.

If how we handle your data changes meaningfully, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
